What is new in this release
WSO2 Carbon 4.4.3 is the successor of Carbon 4.4.2, which includes several improvements and bug fixes.
Note that the caching implementation based on EHcache has been removed from Carbon 4.4.x versions. This is due to issues related to distributed caching in EHcache. We have moved to a hazelcast-based caching implementation in Carbon 4.4.x , which we officially support.
If you still want to use EHcache in Carbon 4.4.x products, you can manually add the EHCache JAR (which is a third party JAR) to the <CARBON_HOME>/repository/components/plugins
directory.
Fixed issues
The following are the main improvements in Carbon 4.4.3:
- Possibility to use either asymmetric encryption or symmetric encryption.
- Possibility to detect forged messages in logs by enabling a UUID. Read about configuring log4j properties for more information.
