The registration process will defer between Android-powered devices and iOS-powered devices. The following topics explain the registration process based on the mobile OS:

The required APIs need to be published and subscribed to, for the EMM to function properly. Therefore, it is required for the super tenant and the tenant admin to login to the EMM Console at least once before registering a device, as explained below:

  1. Access the EMM console and login using super tenant credentials. When this step is executed the super tenant will automatically publish the required APIs and subscribe to these APIs.
  2. https://localhost:9443/emm/ 
  3. Create a tenant that you need to use via the EMM Management Console.
  4. Access the EMM console and login using the credentials of the newly created tenant. When this step is executed the tenant admin will get automatically subscribed to the EMM APIs.
  5. Register the device.
